Interview of Mrs Du Garay

Mrs. Du Garay has been working at Sainte-Marie for 6 years. Before, she was a financial analyst in a credit company. She did an “ES” baccalaureate exam. At school her favourite subjects were Spanish, English and “SES”. Here, her work is administrative and she’s also in charge of pastoral care at the Lycée.

She likes to help pupils solve their problems. Her favourite moment of the day is break time because she can speak with the pupils and have a good laugh with them.

Her best memory is when students in “Terminale” sent her an SMS during a graduation ceremony when she was away on a training course.

What she dislikes doing most is punishing pupils and having to always maintain order.

She thinks that Sainte-Marie is a good place because it’s a small school with nice families; teaching here is high quality, and children are looked after with kindness.

She likes listening to Pop and Rock. When she was young, her heroes were the Star Trek characters and the members of the group Genesis.

The meal she enjoys most is veal in white sauce.
